Description

Take the awesome power of your Sony PlayStation 4 console, and give it the portability and convenience of the Nintendo Switch. Stream your PlayStation 4 games to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and play from anywhere. Never again will your gaming be interrupted when someone else needs to use the TV! R-Play features: • Play your PlayStation 4 games while away from home by streaming over the internet¹ • Supports HD 720p video (1080p for PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second for crisp, smooth gameplay • Control games with any MFi game controller, or the built in virtual on-screen controller • Highly tuned performance with extremely low lag • Multiple profile support so you can use any number of different PlayStation 4 consoles or PSN accounts • Customise the virtual on-screen controller to your liking • Quick and easy one-time setup, start playing within seconds To use R-Play, your PS4 must be connected to your home network via LAN cable. For the best streaming experience, having your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connected to a 5GHz WiFi network is highly recommended. Your PS4 must be linked to a PSN account (however, R-Play does NOT require your PSN password). The current version of R-Play requires that your PlayStation 4 is running system software 4.73; other versions are not supported. Note 1: Playing over the internet requires your home network to be set up correctly. In most cases R-Play does this for you automatically. Some users may need to perform this set up manually, according to the instructions found in the included in help guide. • Didn’t live up to my expectations

Honestly, I liked how you’re able to use a controller and play on your phone I just don’t like how you have to have two psn accounts, basically saying you have to spend an extra $25 for psn live for another account. Pretty much trying to say you shouldn’t have to make two accounts to play with a controller. Not only that but i played with delay in the movements. Would be nicer if it was simpler and worked easier

Update: I didn’t like using my generic Bluetooth controller that was lacking buttons, so I finally tried following the in-app steps for setting up a PS4 controller. It worked flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier. This app is amazing!!! All I wanted to do was be able to play my PS4 games from my iPad screen from different rooms in my apartment. This does the trick perfectly. Haven't tried outside my home, but I don't care about that. Just wanted more mobility, and it's beautiful.
  • Please Update for iPhone X support

This app would be 5 stars if it took advantage of iPhone X screen or was optimized at least. Please fix! Thank you :)
  • Actually works!

Not only does this app really work with my PS4, but I can play PS4 games almost anywhere i want (with internet connection). the support is really nice and on top of things, answering my questions in within 12 hours. The only bad thing is the need to buy a made for phone controller in order to play away from home. Highly recommend it.

I think this game is really cool and I can just connect it to my ps4 and play some fortnite. All I did was buy a wireless controller that I can just fit my phone in the middle of it and the phone is a screen and the controller is my ps4 or xbox controller. If you are interested in getting one they are called gamevice and they have it for iPhones and iPads, but not samsung only Apple. Mainly the game is the coolest and the best so keep on doing what you do and even though it’s 20 dollars it’s very much worth it. Thank you r-play makers!! -Kolben

This basically turns your IPad into a Vita for remote play. The IPad has way more screen real estate. I’ve always wanted to use my DualShock controller during remote play though. Well if you make a second PlayStation account you can use the DualShock with your main account. If not you can buy a MIFI controller for iPad. I don’t like touch screen controls. Remember the DualShock is connected to the PS4 and the MIFI connects to the iPad. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this app. It’s perfect for when someone needs the TV and you want to keep playing. This app is amazing! I thought it wasn’t possible because Sony and Apple usually keep a lock on things. You can adjust the resolution and frame rate in the app. Just make sure you have good internet speeds. I would stay as close as possible to the PS4 but I did play all the way across the house and it was fine. 👍👍👍

This app is freaking amazing!! Totally worth the money, I was just wondering if you guys would be adding support for iPhone X? If so that would make the app so much better!!

Could you add an option to increase screen size to fill up the whole iphone x display? Perfect otherwise.

I’m sorry but this app can be great but when it glitches to the point that you go from one part of the game and facing one way to facing something that wasn’t even near you that means it glitches to much. And on this app it need to say controller required because the joysticks and buttons on this app are horrible!!!!!
  • Amazing software

This does every single thing that the Sony Xperia line and the Sony PlayStation Vida does. The only difference is that it’s not supported by Sony so I’m a little skeptical about future updates and support. If Sony decides to brick this software, I will be out more than 10 bucks. As long as that doesn’t happen, this thing continues to get five stars.
