The best! Started using slopes from the beginning. It was good then, and has only gotten better with popularity.

My first impressions with the app were good, the UI is very easy to understand when initiating, pausing and completing a track. The biggest thing that really bugs me is the heat map. One of the big selling points of the app, and one of the biggest reasons I bought a pass to test it out, and it's a pain to use. I need to use two fingers to move around the map, and even that It barely moves me at all, and get get a bit fidgety when I try to zoom out and back in. I would personally prefer to use one finger to move around, and two to move around 3D, or just add a heat map option for the 2D map. Everything else is good, but the heatmap is nearly unusable.
  • Please make winter 3D maps.

The app works great. Use it every time I ski. I use it with my Apple Watch and it works great, sometimes is a hard time finding my resort but that’s probably because I don’t get service instead of a problem with the app. Only thing that really needs improvement is the 3D and 2D maps. All the maps are shown in “summer” view. I understand that the app is probably pulling from a google maps satellite view or something similar but the app would be a 5 star if they could make the map view a winter view aka show snow and the runs better. Please please please make this an update. I paid for a season pass and the app is not very pleasant to use because of this.
  • Best ski tracking program

This app. Does a great job of tracking ski runs, it even labels the name of the lifts. You can recreate all the runs of the day. They also have great technical support.
  • Off-piste disappointment

Took my watch for its first trip into the backcountry. Was excited to see how this app would work. Watch was charged to 80% which I figured would be plenty. Phone was stashed inside my jacket at my base Lauer. Started up slopes and let it run. Our 3hr tour started with an approach to the bowl up a 500’ vert skintrack over maybe 0.75mi. We then did 2 laps up another 750’ face for some very nice powder sessions. Slopes ultimately said we climbed 380’ for 1 lap taking 2H40m car-to-car. Scrolling through the data, it looks like it captured our first ascent and descent, our second ascent and then must have died. My phone did die during the trip, so there must be a link between the two that maybe disrupted the data collection. Still not sure why the altitude data was so far off. (Peak elevation measured was 11,621ft, truck was about 10,400’) It was cool to see our trail as captured by the app.

Love this app for tracking a day on the slopes! Doesn’t drain the battery, good watch app and cool 3d views. Highly recommend!
