  • Limited items gone

    By riri🦄
I love the game!!! super fun, but the only con this game has for I don’t know if might agree with me or experienced the same things as me. But some of the items I have purchased from carpets, lamps, plants, frames, sofas and limited items I don’t understand why even though I have purchased them all of the sudden they disappear I don’t know or understand as to why it makes me really upset and sometimes I think about deleting the game because I spend a good amount of money or gems on them and after few days they disappear.
  • Addicting but expensive

    By B T Cooper
I quite enjoy this game, but the diamond reward for a perfect score is way to low. You can only buy art, table decor, and plants using diamonds, which are way to expensive, so buying diamonds with real money is costly.
  • Only 1 reason I won’t rate a 5

    By DarBee76
This game is so fun and lets my creativity flow. As much as I love the game, I can’t give it a 5 for the sheer fact that you have to continuously buy merchandise. I would love to see an update where you get to keep your purchases and use whenever you want. There are so many great items that it wouldn’t stop me from purchasing more than what I already have. But it would be nice to not have to re-but the same things over and over. Diamonds aren’t cheap and the merchandise is pretty pricey. It won’t stop me from playing, but I would give it a 5 if they let us keep the merchandise we buy to use in whatever design we want.
  • Love this app - creative an addictive!!! But :(

    By Luna7120
I absolutely love this app, happily await score, variety of rooms and homes, plus voting for other players designs. Yet, it is WRONG/UNFAIR once you purchase an item its lost after 5 uses. We are using REAL MONEY $$$$ to purchase and in the real world once you buy its yours! The app owners WILL make money without this thievery. We ‘designers’ increase our inventories for creative purposes and design prerequisites. But the disappearing act is akin to STEALING of my real world $$$ money. Only reason for 4 stars
  • They Steal Money

    By Mimi*0211*
This was my favorite app until I started to notice unauthorized charges to my bank account! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS APP!!! I don’t even know how they can just take money. I had to delete my bank card info from my iPhone to stop them from random charges. $1.99 adds up I didn’t even notice this until they tried to get me for $7.49!!! AGAIN I WARN YOU DO NOT LET THEM STEAL FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD ATTACHED TO APPLE ITUNES!!!
  • Rating system needs improvement

    By Lovestodine
I would have given 5 stars but the design rating system is not on par. I personally spend a lot of money buying in the store. I play with a group of people and we have been doing a lot of comparing with screen shots, and talking to others. It is clear that not all people are honest when rating. Some people appear to just be tapping on screens to get through the rating area quickly. If this keeps happening, I will sadly have to leave the game. :( Its disheartening when one spends their own money for amazing pieces for their designs.
  • Game lets people steal your actual money, Still needs work, space hog, object brightness issues

    By Stone804
Getting better, but... If you spend actual real money on diamonds for items and then people can “borrow” them from you but you then LOSE that item and all you get in return is a few lousy keys, it’s total BS. Not ok... the game “says” you don’t lose the item but I literally tested it next to someone else playing and my item count went down by 1 after they “borrowed” it... Still takes up over 2GB on my phone... that’s crazy! Also color / brightness of objects isn’t consistent. Example: level 10 wall art, inventory shows bright color, once hung on a wall is dismal and too dark to see or be pleasant Some white couches show as blown out in some scenes, lamps appear one color in inventory and another in room. Voting scores don’t make any sense, can you explain? Wall art rarely matches, like one vertical and one horizontal of the same genre yet most room deigns call for sets and pairs of horizontal or vertical style items or wall art that matches in size which almost nothing does. Even the frames don’t match sometimes in the same level. For a Design game they sure don’t get how Design works.
  • Greedy and unrealistic overpriced furniture

    By anonagony
The app was really really fun at first. My goal is to exercise my shopping part of the brain that’s in need of new things and stimulation. Hoping to cure my shopping/debt issues. You know the capitalistic disease know as the USA haha. Without spending any real money on it. Boy Was I wrong. The items they sell are not “real life prices” . They are %75 marked up. So this makes it really hard to just let go and have a fun shopping trip. instead I’m buying the cheapest items and doing a lot of rooms, it’s better practice and cost effective the more I spend the faster I level. They also claim to give free items when you reach a level. You do get some. Maybe 1 out of 10 items are free. It’s a great game if you play an hour a day to the daily and save up to get the nice stuff . instead of doing a bunch of crappy rooms. Just to level . Most people want to play a lot like myself. So it’s not a great game for everyone. When I got about 4 low scores in a row on very expensive nice room I them immediately deleted the app. I’m sure there are a lot of other apps to play. After voting on the rooms I saw a lot of bad stuff I like to spend time on the room like taking an hour looking at lamps for example. I love that stuff. Anyways after that happened I realized they were bias and so is there automated voting. All the rooms with 5.0 scores had the same items and didn’t even look nice. I think the computer generated voting auto picks up the most expensive items. Something is weird about it the voting seemed screwed. I hope this helps to anyone looking for ways to be creative without breaking the bank. It’s prolly not for you.
  • Meh

    By DonnaFirsty
Technical problems for weeks now. My account keeps disappearing and coming back, ever since the last app update. It disappears for 2-4 days at a time, making me miss out on many challenges, and then my inventory gets low. Design Home really needs to fix these bugs. It takes all the fun out of playing the game. It’s just not worth the frustration, and I’m not sure how much longer I can deal with it.
  • Take reviewers’ suggestions

    By Sophie 1986
I hope they take the suggestions from some of the reviewers. I like the game, but it could be better. I definitely agree that after you earn rewards you should be able to keep them indefinitely in your inventory. I also agree that it would be nice to earn more diamonds by voting.
